Start before the room is stripped. Nameplates, lineup photos, counts, and access details let a buyer see reuse value that disappears once equipment is broken down as scrap.
Before dismantling
Capture a wide view of each lineup and room, then photograph nameplates and breaker schedules. Keep buckets, doors, hardware, drawout elements, transition sections, elbows, and accessories with the equipment they belong to.
What changes value
Manufacturer support, model family, voltage class, current rating, interrupting rating, condition, completeness, and access all matter. Removal cost is part of the same equation, which is why the path from equipment to loading point belongs in the first conversation.
What to send
- Equipment type, manufacturer, model, and ratings.
- Quantities, lineup lengths, and whether components are complete.
- Current status: in service, disconnected, removed, or stored.
- Release window, floor level, door dimensions, crane or dock access, and site requirements.
