Specification
Bus Plugs: the specification
What we take
Fusible switch plugs, circuit-breaker plugs, combination motor starter plugs, ground-fault plugs, transformer plugs and cable tap boxes. Obsolete and discontinued styles are the ones we want most — the plugs that no distributor stocks anymore are the plugs that plants desperately need, so they carry the strongest prices. We buy single units and full pallets.
What sets the number
Style, ampere rating and whether the plug matches a busway system still in wide service. A 400 A I-Line fusible plug in good condition is a stocked spare for hundreds of plants. Interior condition matters: clean stabs, an intact interlock and a working handle mechanism price as reusable. Burned stabs price on copper.
How we get it out
Plugs come off the run with the busway de-energized. We pull them, pallet them, band them and load them. If the whole run is coming out, we take the run and the plugs together in one deal.
